Wiener Neustadt, Austria
In the fall semester of 2013 I participated in the Foreign Exchange program offered through Wichita State University. For four months I lived in the dorms in Wiener Neustadt, Austria, attending a school called Fachhochschule Wiener Neustadt. There were 41 other foreign exchange students and I was the only student from the United States. I love to travel and the experience to be submerged in another culture for a long period of time was very exciting. The Austrian school worked closely with WSU and offered business classes that transferred back. The classes were also taught in English! I learned how to adapt to new surroundings and to make friends from countries all around the world; I hope to continue to keep those relationships with for the rest of my life.
